So strange that CCAP can pass through on MY23 for rest of year but if you take delivery on something else you won’t qualify as an individual. Was looking at i4 and if you didn’t have the contract in place before 8/16 no dice.

My 23 Rubi just moved to ā€œScheduledā€ today. Hopeful it comes in before EOY. The only thing I’m nervous about is the SOT holding it up, but since I’m not flipping it I ordered what I wanted to drive for the next 3 years.

Well maybe it’s allowed credit cuz its made in ā€˜Murica.

I was just about to say this. The built-in North America requirement is added for contracts after the Act was passed.

Let’s see that new flag emblem that’s supposed to be on the 23s

No new flag emblem to be found…

Gupton said sign and drive have been costing them money and they don’t really want to go that route. I assume they set them up incorrectly?

Anyone done sign and drive recently? I guess I’ll share the Chrysler s&d job aid with them and see if that helps?

I know it was mentioned above but triple confirming the official word on the $7500 coming from CCAP tomorrow to dealers.

My guys got an email from their dealer relations rep tonight.

Why would it cost them money? First payment is being made by the bank (in lieu of a MF increase)

I’ve been trying to figure out the same…

Its not costing them money per se. I guess its causing headaches for the accounting department. When the deposit is refunded, it shows up as a loss on the books.

Yes Renee said it was an accounting issue that made it seem like they were paying it not CCAP. Fair enough they don’t want to deal with it and just apply the deposit as money down.

Can we do just first payment as DAS and rest like fees, Tax roll into payments. Do they take tax $$ and then write you a check for tax money they collected. Do they return the 1k deposit minus the local fees they charging now.

I can’t find the photo now but it’s super tiny - like 1 inch by 1 inch near the Sahara letters on the side

Yes you can do first payment DAS and roll the rest incl tax into the payments.

For NY (idk about other states) they mail you a check for the tax money they collected, which you then pay at the DMV…

Yeah - i didn’t fully understand that. she said it was showing up as a loss on the books, and seeming like they were losing money on every sign and drive, but why? Isn’t CCAP just paying/fronting themselves a 1 month fee?

Thats my understanding. @mllcb42 maybe can clarify.

My '23 Rubi was built in 5 weeks from schedule. good luck

I can only see this being an issue if they arent doing to paperwork correctly
