Just confirming-if going with SFS lease-cannot do a lease transfer in the future but can still do a third party buyout, correct?

I would say search the market place as there are a few brokers advertising deals- @AutoNinjas for example is one of them.

As of now yes. But selling to break even will be extremely unlikely.

Ratefinder is showing $8,000 lease cash for some trims this month. I wonder if that’s correct. $2,300 jump from last month.

Looks like mine got sold at auction. 2022 Sahara high velocity 19000 mile. Residual was around $37.5k.

I was looking at a Rubicon X but saw Rubicon 4xe at the same price but of course there’s an EV lease incentive so it should be $7500-8000 cheaper. These two don’t stack, right? Also - which is better SFS or CCAP lease?

They do stack.

Sfs is better

If somehow I was crazy and loved it, could I buyout the SFS lease early (at adjusted cap cost minus depreciation paid - approximately)?

From the calcs, it definitely seems like SFS has a 2% lower rate on the leases.

I think Chysler Capital forgot to add one more"0"
Should be $10k LOL

Enough taking it on the chin at auction they want to dangle something lol

Too bad because I’d potentially pay the auction value for mine which will be 10k less

Same. My plan was to have a local dealer buy it, and me pay them a fee for doing so. I was late doing that, so tracked it to the dealer that got it at auction for 29,500 and am currently negotiating with them. It took six weeks from when i turned it in, to landing at the purchasing dealer. Fingers crossed.

Nice

My 4xe last turn in ended up pretty far away after auction and being from MA I’d really need a dealer who knows how to do a deal here.

Of course I have to budget for an extended warranty too.

Apparently this is against dealer license policy. Supposedly they aren’t allowed to negotiate the purchase price with the returning customer when accepting a lease return. Rather would have it sent to auction.
