Hey all. I thinking about pulling the trigger on this deal: my lease is up in a couple weeks not sure if i should roll the dice and see if things get any better mid month. Hard to swallow coming off my $399/mo Sahara loaded to the gills but things seem to have changed.

There are brokers out there doing 12% ish with affiliate. Back out broker fee and shipping costs and you have a baseline value that wouldnt make any sense to go below.
potentially wanting to work with a broker (autocompanion) for a 4XE, any chance in getting a better deal with a one time pay?

One pay will have a lower money factor, but isnt going to get you a larger discount. The money factor on many of the 4xe trims may be too low right now to get any benefit also.

With most lessors it needs to be at or above 4/32 however your lease contract documents will have the exact number. It is also in the ālease end checklistā that a lessor will send in your last 60 or 90 days.

Iām in Colorado but am frustrated with the dealer Iāve been talking to. If I use an out-of-state broker/dealership do I lose the $5k state credits?
Yes. Those are state specific regulations incentives in which you are required to be a resident of and lease / purchase that vehicle from a dealer in that state.
Have you seen what a broker can get you? Admittedly we only have one or two in here in CO.
As a point of sale credit, yes, but Iām 99% sure you can still claim it on your taxes at year end.
In general, I agree, but I believe CO is different.
I believe the $5K credit is available for out of state lease. The vehicle can have temp tags from out of state to either drive it or deliver it to CO but the CO registration must be the first state the vehicle is registered in.
I think a while back in this unending thread (maybe back in part 2 or 3) someone mentioned that they were having a hard time finding a Jeep dealer that would let them ground their lease.
Iām now in the same place, with my 2021 4xe lease having matured this week and multiple dealers in the Boston area refuse to ground my lease. This was one I got from Mark Dodge in Louisiana, so not feasible to take it back to the originating dealer.
One made the excuse āthey donāt have room on their lot because itās too smallā (after of course asking me whether I leased it there - which when I answered no he had to make up the lot size excuse). Another has told me that (incorrectly) they can only ground leases that were sold at that dealership. Yet another (Kelly Jeep, who claims to be the biggest Jeep dealer in the region) asserted they would not ground it due to their policy not to ground any lease that they didnāt sell. A couple of them just refuse to give me an answer when I call - I get routed from the front desk to a random sales manager, only for them to not answer the call or return voice messages.
My next step is to try to speak to someone as Chysler Capital, but if anyone else has any suggestions on how this has gone down for them, Iād appreciate ideas. I now more fully understand why CDJR dealers are so terrible at customer service.

Probably not far from the truth for having no space on their lot. Their lots are already overflowing with vehicles. But real BS this is an issue for someone trying to return a lease.
