HOW TO GET A GOOD WRANGLER 4XE Deal; Buckle up for a LONG read! (Part 3)

Hah! You could reverse that statement and there’d still be some truth to it

 well, if the missus loves the Rubi, could sell the bronco for a huge profit and drive the jeep for almost free for 3 years. With all of the options for selling the Rubicon it gets a bit overwhelming, my main concern is running into issues trying to sell the jeep. Any comments or guidance is welcomed.

Whenever you get it - you can easily get quotes from all the usual suspects (CarMax, ALGO, AutoNation, Carvana, GiveMeTheVin) and compare who has the best offer. Lately it’s been going through a broker to sell (try @Clutch and @AutoCompanion) that has been offering the best $ return.

Bronco can be a tougher one to flip logistically.

If you have any intention of flipping it I would be very cautious of leasing through ford motor credit.

Yup, and it’s already SOLD by the dealership-they had it listed at $63,000

For folks that are flipping their 4xEs, what are you getting into afterwards?

My plan was to keep mine for a year or so and then try to see if there are any deals for anything else at that point (I got mine in September). Looks like the resale values for these are still high, so not terrible to keep it for a while longer. I had thought about swapping to the GC 4xE when it comes out but the deals on that are not looking that great, unless I’m missing something?

Im planning on driving my HA for a while. Ill probably evaluate things if/when one of my fisker orders come in. Besides that, it depends on what the stars align on next to be a great lease option.

Here’s some guidance for you. This was my due diligence when selling my rubicon (sold this past thursday)

Why didn’t you accept the highest offer from Autonation?

acquisition fee as well. how much down? I did a similar lease last year with 1k down and my payoff is just approaching 47k I’d love to know how your payoff is already 46k.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the local Autonation dealer wouldn’t honor the online price. Happened to me a few times.

So looking at 2024?

Ocean is “supposed” to be out way before then, but potentially, yah. I one-paid, so in no rush to get out of it.

Shenanigans.

TLDR: I called and said I don’t have plates, their general manager told me the temp registration I had was sufficient to complete the sale, I drove 2.5 hours there just to be told it’s actually not sufficient. Refused to drive back out of principle

What was your build?

+1, got one of these and it’s great. Makes the car look so much cleaner. No idea on reception, since I use XM or CarPlay. One thing to note, the stock antenna doubles as a height indicator for going into low parking garages etc. If it hits, the roof will hit.

If this rule applied to the stock antenna, then it surely applies to the aftermarket one as well. :joy:

Mark Dodge uses central dispatch. Mine is costing me $1350, you have to pay cash, which is about what I was quoted on Uship. They check the licensing and insurance of the shippers before the car is picked up.
