Yeah. The HA should be delivered next week. I ordered that one to keep, but if I can make some good money on it I’ll let it go. I was shocked when the build sheet popped up for the HV Rubicon this week too. I figured it’d be another month or two at least.
long time lurker here, and negotiated my last lease back in the good ole leasing days of 2019 based on info learned on this forum (~25% off MSRP on a fart car).
these 4xe threads (and current mkt conditions) have been crazy, to say the least.
here are some my data pts:
61.5 msrp
offers:
gmtv: 53.5 (buyer gave me the same line others mentioned - “we got hosed at auction last week”)
driveway: “too new to offer”
algo: 52
autonation: 56.5
contrary to the smooth manheim drop-offs or pickups from home and overnight checks from these online buyers, autonation dealer was a real pita and the process was incredibly time consuming. however, they were the highest current bid, and it was simply time to dump it, after only a few hundred miles on the clock - see below.
over the weekend, the CEL came on (fault code P1E1D), though it drove fine in all three modes. i checked all the fuses/gas cap, tried clearing with my obd app. nothing worked. then overnight, the fault code self-cleared. having read many of the horror 4xe stories about escalated cases/unresolved CELs, i did not want to risk having it sit at a jeep dealer for weeks to diagnose/fix. cashed in, and out.
Not that I’m aware of. I’m in TX and went through @Clutch. The broker route was still cheaper than anything I could do with a TX dealer (including potential tax credits and state rebate)
Some good news today! Stellantis extends Chrysler Capital agreement until 2025
same with 2018 JLUR
anyone recently picked up their car from Koons? Did everything went as they thought? I plan to do one pay for my lease. not sure if they will play any trick on this.
Picking up an order tomorrow. Is there an affiliate I can sign up for that I can use right away? Thanks!
Nope. Unless you get it through your employer, you’re outta luck.
Any sell to GMTV this week? My buyer is saying he’s having trouble getting the same offer as 3 weeks ago.
Anyone know the rough break even for flipping a one time lease pay? I remember reading its best to keep it at least 1 year.
Unsure exactly how the math looks on the scenario.
I think GMTV got slammed at the auctions the last week or so and they have dropped the offers down a bit.
GMTV gave me 43k on a 38k pay off for my wife’s grand Cherokee today.
depends. Do you live in a monthly lease tax state or an all-up-front tax state?
I found that one-pay will easily give your extra 2k-3k to play with when you decide to sell
How did you come to that conclusion? Only way it pays off that much is if you keep it to term.
Thats great! I was referring to the 4XE offers, my bad, I think those have dropped a bit since when I sold mine 3 weeks ago! I sold my GC Trailhawk to Carmax back in November for 44k and my payoff was 34.5ish, I only had about 11 months left on the lease, I was not complaining at all!
Depends on your state and your sales tax rate.
Did you get it all in writing before hand for the lease or just a price quote? They have been known to bump up the money factor, but I believe have stopped on recent orders.
Can you get 2 for your employer and then 2 from tread lightly
I dont believe so. Tread lightly just qualifies you for affiliate.
