Seems CCAP online account and their automated telephone system is not up to date .

Had an account closed about 2 weeks ago and the online system still shows open . Automated telephone system also shows open .

Rep confirmed this is the case.

Rep also confirmed account is paid in full and closed. They even emailed me a Lease Satisfaction letter after I requested it.

Also, CCAP is very slow to report to credit bureaus. I had an account closed back in Oct and they have yet to update it or mark it closed to the 3 bureaus . (This is over 3 months already)

I reached out to them and they texted asking if I was still looking to sell mine - said Yes and their response was “Sorry, we can’t give you an offer”

Could be because mine’s a '22, but still odd

Yeah definitely odd, I’d try to contact someone and find out why. They had the highest offer on my 21 Sahara.

Is it registered with tags yet?

Driveway gave me offer of 50k for a 22. They just aren’t bothering with no auction data and giving low balls. Not sure why it’s so difficult, if you are willing to give 55 for a 21, why’s that make sense for lower on a 22.

Market may not be established for 22’s yet, too new?

I suspect when we’re talking about these larger companies that are doing the buying, they have some algorithm that corporate uses to establish pricing and then folks interfacing when sellers don’t have the authority to come up with numbers on the spot.

Give it another day. Happened to me, showed up next day.

Another reason why I love this forum … good feedback on changing conditions.

The Chapman call out is interesting. Family has a 2-row GC Summit that just landed there, so we’ll see how that goes. They’re doing short-term financing, and I’ll be surprised if Chapman tries to get funny with a 36-month loan. They are working with John Brown as the lead sales guy/manager, so that’s a good test case. All paperwork will be done through mail, and I’ll fly out one way to inspect the Jeep in person before driving it home for them; they’ve never purchased a vehicle remotely and are concerned about fit and finish issues, especially on a relatively brand new body style. Happy to take pics of the lot when I’m there. It’s a 5.7, so I’m looking forward to the trip back to assess the 2-row’s power, comfort, quietness, etc. I know my wife is really excited about potentially getting a GC 2-row, gas, or 4XE, so this will be a good preview.

I have a 4XE Rubicon on order through Chapman as well, so I’ll be back there soon after this GC. My deal is a lease, and I’ll be ready for a couple of rounds to get the numbers in line, but I’m also willing to walk away from the deal if we can’t get it right. No sense in accepting anything marked-up when there are other dealers/brokers around that are straight shooters.

I’ll report back on both experiences.

Driveway offered me $53k on a $55.5k 21 Sahara (early build). This is down from their offer of $55k a month ago, but I’m taking it. Everyone else is hitting me at $51k or even less in the PNW.

What was the delivery timeline for the Summit?

Is driveway the one folks say always changes the offer in the end? Let us know how you make out.

No that’s car buyers usa

Can you rent out a 4xe on Turo? Don’t have a contract yet to read terms

For the GC Summit:

  • 12/15 Order Date
  • 1/12 D1
  • 1/19 KZ (I think)
  • 2/8 KZ LD (last leg)
  • 2/10 Email from Chapman that the GC is on the lot

So about 2 months order to arriving at the dealer.

Here’s the spec. The only options are color and the V8. Avoided any MSRP increases.

Nope. They’ve done their inspection already. Price is locked. They’ll overnight me the paperwork next week, pay me, and then pick it up.

Any of you guys have GC 4XE on order? I have one through Chapman that’s showing a ship date of 2/10/22 per Chapman but Jeep chat shows it still in D status. Not sure which one is accurate

Enjoy in good health! Thanks for the opportunity!

Actual loans on a purchase and interest rates are a non issue if they markup and won’t budge. It’s super easy to refinance with a credit union in the first few months as if you used the CU to buy. But some pushback usually gets finance to give you what you can get elsewhere.
