HOW TO GET A GOOD WRANGLER 4XE Deal; Buckle up for a LONG read! (Part 2)

Jaguar dealer in ny it’s the closest autonation dealer to me

Autonation seems really variable depending on what dealership you interact with. My auto routed closest dealer was going nowhere until some folks on this thread explained each dealer will put in varied amount of effort. I called a handful in the Chicago area and two were willing to play ball. The deal almost didn’t happen the used car manager felt the appraisal was high and did not want to get stuck with a loss. He was on a call with “corporate” for awhile getting confirmation to move forward with the appraised amount. His assessment may have been correct they have had it in inventory over 6 weeks. In the end I’m happy but Autonation is YMMV. Good luck with your sale!

I sold my '21 Sahara to CarMax in late Dec for $55K. Same MSRP as you but I had 1,500 miles.

Any reasons my vehicle is not eligible for KBB Instance Cash Offer?

Anyone has more information about the FCA Affiliate Rewards.

If I generate the Control Number using my employer, How long would the control number last? When should I apply to generate the control number?

Found it. I went through the process and this is what I got:

  • Date Issued: 01-27-2022
  • Expiration Date: 01-03-2023

Just fill if out before you sign any paperwork. There’s no need to do it way before

If I put anything less than 1500 miles it would never work. Once I put 1500 miles I’ve been able to get offers.

Is affiliated 2 in a calendar year or 12 months of your first use

Like your posts?

Oh yeah…way under mile. Will try your suggestion.

Seems to be 2 per calendar year. I used one last year in August and earlier this month was back up to 2 when it reset for 2022.

I’ve got 2 Rubi’s on order through Gupton, flipping the first and keeping the second. Was told I need to keep for 3 payments prior to being able to sell it…is this only true if its leased through CCAP vs another bank and would that be a better option with my intent to flip my initial order? I’m sure this has been discussed but obviously this thread is insane.

This is a request by the dealer to make sure the selling doesn’t come back on them, so doubtful that using a different bank will make a difference.

Further, there really isn’t another lessor worth considering if you’re planning on selling at any point during the lease period.

I would be interested to know this as well. From what I understand, dealerships get dinged when a customer buys out the lease within the first 90 days. I don’t think there is any repercussion on the customer though unless there is some language in a contract that you signed indicating such. I believe from a customer perspective, the only thing you need is to have a CCAP account setup (which may be 30 days?) and registration filed the state that could be as little as a few days to 2 months. Again, this is my interpretation and I would love to hear more.

That’s a fairly accurate run down from what I can tell

seems like a reasonable request not to bite the hand that’s feeding the deals… and to drive it for a few months. But if prices start to sink no doubt some panicked flippers might not be so kind.

You were “told” that by Gupton?

direct quote from my email
“We could probably do that but I think you would have to keep the lease for at least 90 days or 3 payments”

I’m assuming it is because you had ordered two. The dealers which are popular on this forum are definitely aware of the 4xe situation at this time. It becomes even more evident when people come knocking at their door, wanting to place multiple orders.
