I checked jeep chat today, same parts gathered build scheduled status. I checked with the dealer and my ship date moved from 1/31 to 1/24.

Same build for me as well. 11/15 order and still seeking parts. Meanwhile, my wife’s HA ordered two weeks later has a 01/24 ship date.
Congrats!
I ordered on 10/26- in D1 currently.

I’m hoping to have it by mid Feb!
I don’t get how Gupton is doing RV lock with sold order protection.
From what I read in the ccap docs. Sold order protection does not lock RV if using standard money factors.
Below pulled from ccap docs. Under “What is not protected?”…“Residuals, when the Lease Money Factor is standard.”
Protection Program is a copy of the Incentive Configurator. The configurator must reflect the following:
» Sold order date
» Delivery date (matching the contract date)
» Incentives honored
What is protected?
» Incentivized APRs
» Incentivized Lease Money Factors and associated residuals
What is not protected?
» Standard Retail Rates
» Standard Lease Money Factors
» Residuals, when the Lease Money Factor is standard
» Acquisition Fees
Gupton is locking in residual value which is huge. Im 100 percent positive. I don’t think ccap has “standard” mf on 4XE.
That is what I am trying to figure, because the ccap rate sheet posted a couple days ago in this thread literally says “STANDARD LEASE RATE SHEET - 01.04.22 - 01.31.22” at the top.
All i care is Gupton assured me, if it turns otherwise ill have them eat the cost if anything lol
I love Gupton. Daniel and Renee are awesome. I’m sure someone else can answer the standard rate question. My buddy is a jeep nut and placed his order yesterday with residual lock. I helped him and was told rv is locked as long as you pay/sign within 14 days. 6 percent under invoice with affiliate.
I leaning towards Gupton, they offered RV lock to me as well. Hopefully someone knows whether the 4xe MF’s are considered incentivized or not.
Only the mf can’t be locked along with possible acquisition.
I’ve been wondering this all day. Think I’ll order one after the weekend
They are not incentivised. If it were incentivised, it can be locked like what we were doing prior to the change in guidelines.
We do sold order protection on all our deals and in the past have locked RV for everyone but it is to our understanding that cannot be done.
An incentivised program like the 36 month Compass 4x4 below can be locked ( RV, MF, and rebates)
We do it all the time on Ram incentivised programs which work out nicely!
IF it does turn out to be true, well get it as well for everyone because we SOP every deal, but its doubtful that it can be locked at this time.
I was told by gupton it is locked today (At least they are) and another member posted a screenshot of an email from Daniel om Jan 4 saying they do. I wonder what the real story is?
FWIW sold order protection on RV only was a huge PITA for my dealer 8 months ago and caused a bunch of friction between them and CCAP. It took weeks and weeks for my contract to fund.
I tend to believe @clutch is right since I’ve spoken to a handful of other volume dealers recently and they all say the same. They’ll price protect the actual vehicle, but not the rates.
If I had to guess, it was a guidance gray area previously that they’ve since “fixed the glitch” on.
I tend to believe clutch as well. It spells it out in the ccap sold order protection doc, only on incentivized rates. I do believe Gupton is making an honest mistake. If RV drops they will have to offer something to the buyers or let buyers eat the change.
Ya @Clutch is 100% correct.
RV is not locked. I sat in the room with our dealer with CCAP to verify.
Only incentivized rates are locked. Compass and RAM.
Wrangler is under a standard rate.
Additionally they are aggressively cancelling deals for people with multiple orders. Not sure of the criteria.
I hope were wrong. If they can be locked thats fantastic and well happily do the same for everyone. We did it before and well do it again.
Dude, WTF happened to the camaro?!
For some reason CCAP keep included taxes in the dealer payoff to CarMax. I requested my own payoff and it was exactly the same, with the tax broken out so I could see it. Just a bad rep when CarMax called?
