I am looking to lease a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander. Located in Central Florida. First time Leasing. I have read the forum and have tried to come up with a lease proposal but am a bit confused. We did get some quotes from the dealer before doing my research and they seemed way off.
These are the quotes we got:
2024 Mitsubishi Outlander SE. Final price after discounts & rebates including all fees: $34,670 with $5000 down on a 36 month lease. Payments: $477.
2025 Mitsubishi Outlander SE PHEV. Final price after discounts & rebates including all fees $41,117 with $5000 down on a 39 month lease. Payments: $388
How can we be paying less money for a newer car that is more expensive? What am I missing? Now that I have done some research. I would rather put no money down for a similar payment and lease.
We are looking to have payments anywhere from $380-$400, on a 15K, 36-39 month lease with no down payment. Is this realistic? We are looking form something with a 3rd row and really have no other preference. Should I put money down to make sure I get to the monthly payments I want?
I did my research on what the options are for this type of car in my area and now am wondering what proposal I should be looking to make to meet my parameters.
