I apologize in advance if this is a newbie question. I’m trying to use the LH calculator for an Audi Q8 e-tron lease. AudiCare is apparently $1,099 for that model. How do I account for that extra cost when I bump up the base residual? Do I add it to the MSRP or do I add it as a separate item to the dealer added fees on top of doc fee and tire disposal fee and such?
you can add into the dealer fees and add 1% RV
Thank you very much!
Are the 10k, 20k, and 30k mile service appointments not included in the lease without having to pay extra for AudiCare? I thought all included maintenance was the purpose of leasing.
No, scheduled maintenance is no longer included on any Audi , whether you purchase or lease. I think at one point the first 10K oil change was included but that’s gone too.
If you pay for AudiCare, they bump up the lease residual by 1% from the base value.
Where on earth did you get that notion?
Maybe BMW?
Not sure. I guess part of that might have been an assumption considering that they were leasing an etron and the initial maintenance is minimal.
We purchased an ID4 and the initial few maintenance checkups were covered. Didn’t have to pay for a service until 40k miles.
When an OEM offers free maintenance on new cars it’s universal, doesn’t matter whether you buy or lease.
