How strict is the Porsche lease return inspection?

Closing in on a lease on CPO Porsche with some minor rock chips in the front/small paint ding on the side that will be touched up. Dealer says that the lease-end inspection should be fine if that car is in good condition but I don’t want to get dinged for something I didn’t even do to the car. Is it worth trying to get them to add in lease end protection or spring for it myself? Thanks.

You can always document the damage and take timestamped photos. Can also ask the dealer to sign off on it.

Get “we owe”.

They actually sent me a really nice packet on what is acceptable with measurement tools and everything.

I was told on CPO leases that anything that is documented as part of the CPO process is not something you should be charged for on lease-end.

Dealers do need to submit detailed, all around photos as part of the CPO certification.
