How much do brokers charge?

Another question.
I have never used a broker. How do they (you) get paid?

Every broker different look at marketplace

Some charge the fee upfront, others are paid by the dealer. You need to ask as every broker is different

If you’re looking for a toyota I’m a local broker out of Philly. Shoot me a message. If looking for another brand there’s lots of great brokers in the NE you can use. Always compare quotes and get a quote from your local dealer as well. Most brokers worth their fee will save you multiples of their fee over what you can achieve on your own.

I am a dealer and I am going to start charging a “stress fee”

Thanks for the input, greatly appreciated

Sorry, not looking for a Toyota

I used a broker (@Bostoncarconcierge) when I leased my 2019 Toyota Tacoma a little over a year & a half ago. The broker saved me a lot of money and a ton of time. There was no back and forth. It was a fantastic experience and well worth the money. I paid him via Venmo.

Don’t forget your taco is worth $5k more now! Haha. Full disclosure, not typical

Used a broker for my new Highlander Hybrid a couple months ago. They charge varying rates, just check out their posts in marketplace it’ll say. The broker I used offered several payments though apps like zelle, or Apple Pay.

I will say it was the best choice I’ve made, either every penny. So easy to do and so smooth, no negotiation just set it up, got it delivered. Probably going to do it again.

I know. Its driving me crazy (and I in turn have been driving Mike crazy). Unfortunately I don’t think there are any out there optioned like mine (TRD Sport/DC/Long Bed/Tech/Premium) that I could get at a reasonable price. I guess even if I go 36 months instead of 24 months. $100 more per month than what I’m paying still nets me $1,400 (assuming I’ve got $5K equity) after 3 years. I love the truck and would get another one in a heartbeat.

Buy one then…after all it’s a taco. Prob can drive another year free on a purchase with this market.

Clicking on a Marketplace thread is too much work apparently
