How long before getting tags for a Kia Lease

Looking to buy out my Kia Niro lease from KMF and have a firm price including tax thats about $8k less than what Carmax has offered me. I’m thinking of selling the car but wondering how long people might have seen the finance company send the required materials for me to sell to Carmax after I send in the money to purchase.

I’ve heard some people say that Kia doesn’t send out materials for a long time and I don’t want to be stuck with the car.
