About 3 months ago I helped my girlfriend place an order for a 2022 SQ5 to be delivered in mid-October. The dealer did not take a deposit for the car but assured us that the deal would be done at 6% off at buy-rate. We are now less than a month away and the dealer is not about to provide a VIN number, should I be concerned?
Are you concerned about them not delivering at all or not delivering on-time? There’s been plenty of talk about manufacturing delays on ordered audis, so it wouldn’t surprise me at all to hear they’re getting pushed to the right on the schedule.
Mainly the on-time delivery. My lease is expiring shortly after the delivery of her car and the replacement for my car isn’t due until February. My two options at this point are either extend my lease until her car arrives, or deal with the ergonomic disaster of 2016 Nissan Altima seats with no lumbar adjustment with lower back issues.
This sounds like a good option to me.
