I was planing to hire broker to find a good deal, wondering hot that works, do i up in front or only if i get the deal through the Broker.
Hope those negative comments will stay away.
I’ve never leased a car so i thought hiring a broker will help a lot.
Where are you located and I assume you’re looking for a BMW or MB based on your tags.? I would say it depends on how you want to make use of their service. Here in the North East some brokers offer deals and list their broker fee, if you like the deal, you contact them, pay the broker fee once you understand all fees etc, and they setup your pickup / delivery etc.
If it’s not an advertise deal, brokers usually list a fee to find a car, that fee may scale based on cars MSRP, and they may ask for some portion of their fee up front, to do the legwork to locate a deal.
As far as paying goes, I assume credit card, paypal / venmo or some other form of electronic transfer.
Hiring a broker is useful and I’d highly recommend it for someone that is new to leasing.
Go to the brokers review section on this site and pick someone with a good reputation (quite a few in NY/MA area) and tell them what you’re looking for. Once you find something you like, you’ll sign a brokers agreement, pay the broker via PayPal, Venmo, etc, then submit a credit app and move forward with the deal.
