How do I hack a new Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid in CA? I am not getting any good deals under $400. TIA

Is it a hackable vehicle?

That’s what I would like to know. Dealers aren’t giving quotes online and want customers to visit the showroom. It’s more difficult now to get a dealership to send a quote than it was 5 years ago when I last leased a vehicle.

Don’t see any in the signed deal section…bad sign

Indeed. I might have to look into leasing a Prius plug-in or Camry.

That’s going to be rough as the brokers here are giving a LX for < $400.
That Sport Touring is $6000 more than an LX so more like $500/month

First try to see who has one in stock. I show 3 in all of SoCal on CarGurus and Torrance has had one for a year.

See if they will play ball..but you got a limited qty item, and no one needs to make a deal on it.

I reached out to a dealership near LAX and specifically asked for a quote on a Sport Touring. I was sent a quote on a Sport instead(smh). Dealership said add $100 more per month for a ST and was told my Costco discount wouldn’t apply for that trim level.

Im at:

$1500 due at signing + $499 Broker Fee

36/10k - $359 plus tax

In stock

Just to confirm. Is it a sport touring? Thanks.

Got it. I’ll be in touch.

Do you have a black one available?

Does Honda do leases on unsold cars that are dealer-damaged? This is known as the @theduke @djrabbi @Bumboola @maybach special. Dirty :fox: makes anything hackable.

Good question. I didn’t see any damage on the car in the link.

Problem is it’s in Kansas. But it’s in the carfax :fox:

Wow! I saw that it was a CPO with a little over a thousand miles. Good price for the car considering the CPO warranty takes you to 100k miles on the powertrain.

If you’re planning to drive a car into the ground from start to finish… this would be a great candidate. Already damaged so it’s cheap… but powertrain is fine heh.

Yup. I assume it was a loaner vehicle and was damaged by their customers. Not their car so they don’t bother to care for it. Being a loaner vehicle with damage recorded on Carfax, I would offer $27k.
