How Did I Do On This 2018 Touring Accord Hybrid?

Yeah but was it the only one in the universe that was in the color combination you wanted?

tl;dr

On the other forum he posted he unsubscribed from here because we’re so mean.

However, the guy really needs links to brokers in NJ.

Otherwise the dealership he bought from will just #$%$# him over again in a few years when he trades.

Your goal is zero down payment. ZERO. ZIP. NADA. Zero down.

Oh snap ! This threads still alive lmao

Oh my GOD how did I miss this. You KNOW it’s a bad lease when they quote you the 39 months. For $580/mo effective I know I’d choose a Honda over a potentially unreliable 5 series BMW or E Class.

Honestly this lease deal sounds a lot better through the soothing voice of Fred Savage on the commercials. Try it. Let it roll around in your head a bit and head over to DCH Honda. Tell them Kevin Arnold sent you.

And does anyone else hate the new Honda commercials as much as I do? They have the nerve to highlight their racing programs considering how bad and unreliable they have been lately? I keep waiting for Fernando Alonso to come out of nowhere screaming ā€œLies! It’s all lies!ā€ and set all the cars on fire.

How soon can I wash my new Accord? LOL

He’s quite active over there with 79 posts already. Car wash, fuel economy questions, etc.

One thing i’ve noticed on that accord enthusiast site is the number of buyer’s remorse issues that are being discussed with the 2018 Accord. Not a good sign for Honda. Some are first year problems (new model) but others are cost-cutting measures/complaints not normally found on 25k-39k Accords.

Misaligned hoods
Fluttering hoods (lightweight aluminum)
paint quality (or lack thereof)
squeaks/rattles in the HUD

Read a bit of the thread there. No offense to Honda Accord owners. While I think it is a good thing to do to keep the car clean, I wasn’t like ā€œcomm’onā€. It is a freaking Accord, made to be one of the most practical cars out there, hand wash every other week??? Treating an Accord like a exotic car totally defeat the purpose of an accord or the entire Honda brand.

Blow his mind with manufacture date info. Probably months from production to actual dealer sale.

Probably time to let this go.

…no offense taken, but some of us take pride in what we own with our hard earned money, regardless of what the badges on the back say. Your statement reads as if people are storing Accords in heated garages for the winter. It takes 30 minutes to hand wash a car.

My Accord gets the same treatment as my TL or my S2000 or any vehicles I’ve ever owned. Hand washes every week or two, biannual full details that take a full day. I do it for me  and when it comes time to sell them, I always get well above book value because 99% of people don’t take care of their sh*t.

Some people like clean cars? It is a 30k vehicle, not a 10 year old jalopy

It was time to let this go a week ago

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I keep mine in a hyperbaric chamber during winter time… during which time I drive my beater Maserati
