Does anyone know how taxes are handled in VA when assuming a lease from GA? I spoke to BMW F and they advised to call the DMV. No one is answering at the DMV and the IVR message just tells you to go online. I was hoping someone could help. Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure this has been discussed before
BMW will give you the paperwork that shows taxes have been paid and therefore you shouldn’t have to pay again.
I did this one time in VA via NYS, may be different with GA taxes.
I did not have to repay for the taxes
