stop sale on 24 Hornets have put some of us Hornet hunters on hold.
One of the dealers said it’ll be until June 1. Someone else here said should be quick. Anyone have any more definitive insight?

Even if it will be until June 1st not a lot inventory left unfortunately so it will not be easy to score great deal. My $0.02.
What happened to the hornet you already leased last year?
lol. I leased two last year that I unloaded for profit…to dealers that decidedly didn’t profit on them.
When does Lease Support end for these 2024 Hornets?
what does that mean, “unloaded for profit…to dealers”? You sold a leased car back to another dealer? Sorry, noob trying to learn all the tricks. lol.
Stop Sale only affects some Hornets. I just picked my 2024 this saturday and it got the “emergency OTA update” quite easily. For some older 2024’s, someone mentioned its a hardware update, thus the stop sale.
I noticed my local dealers in Maryland have Hornets back on their websites. They had pulled them off once the stop sale was announced. I assume they have the update and are ready for sale.
I’ve seen them pop back up too, but I’m still getting the typical CDJR dealer hardball, not wanting to discount at all.
False alarm. I spoke with the dealer. Added back to the websites by mistake.
Keep us posted
I don’t think it was by mistake as I saw both Dodge and Alfa add the Hornet and Tonale inventory. I’m betting there’s a fix in place but the dealers just don’t know about it yet. I spoke with a few dealers today and they’re all clueless, they’re going to check with the service team etc. Absolutely no idea.
I can’t imagine both websites being a mistake and the cars are still up there right now. My guess is a fix was released or will release soon. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
I get the same sense (out of the loop). Dealer I’ve talked to didn’t even seem to know about the possibility of some needing hardware fix vs software.
They may have found a remedy but haven’t given them out to dealerships yet because I have spoken to around 3 dealerships and they are still on recall.
I was told earlier that the fix is coming next week.
… and they are gone today
From the dealer website or from Dodge’s inventory finder? They all popped up on the Dodge inventory finder earlier this week and i’m still seeing close to 1900 2024 RT and RT Plus vehicles available nationwide. One of my local dealers pulled theirs down from their local site, but if Dodge put them up on the main site, I would assume that a fix should be near. At least the ones that only need software.
From the dealer. They told me today that the fix is coming by the end of the month.
Do you know if the fix referenced is the hardware (new head unit) or software fix? Some vins require one or the other.
I have no idea
