I have a Honda Pilot that is ending its lease. I am on a month to month extension until Jan but am looking to make a move between now and end of December. We like the Honda Prologue and I am wondering what doeals are out there and what others have gotten as far as deals on these? The Prologue uses the same platform as the Chevy Blazer EV and I know those have had some awesome lease deals recently.
There have been some decent deals listed in the marketplace but they have been nowhere near as aggressive as what the Blazer has been at. Really there’s not much of a reason to get the Prologue over the Blazer if cost is your concern. For all practical purposes they are the same vehicle.
true, we are in a situation due to a change in my wife’s employment where we are significantly over the milage (by like 20k) on the pilot. It would be cheaper to trade it in…but…I can only do that at a Honda dealer as other dealers aren’t authorized to buy it out. The trade in would result in a lower cost than a “turn in” which is why we were leaning to Honda. Honda also has the loyalty cash which would also help offset the loss. I would rather not go through the hassle of buying it and then trying to sell it privately but that me be on the table depending.
Any big auto franchise that has a Honda and Chevy can do it for you as well.

Tax of 6% on the value of the car is going to be brutal, FYI, even if you replicate the awesome deals you’ve been seeing your payment will be much higher.
