Honda loaner car?

I am dropping my 2019 Accord (which is a 3 year lease) off at the body shop next week to get a pretty significant dent fixed.

Geico is taking care of it but unfortunately I didnt have rental coverage on my auto policy at the time of the incident, so I am ineligible for a loaner car through Geico.

Since I expect my car to be at the body shop for at least a few weeks, will I be able to get a loaner car from either the body shop or Honda Financial since I am still making lease payments on the Accord?

No, that’s not how things work. Neither the body shop nor honda owe you anything. You have to pay for your own rental…

Bummer, I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case…

Welcome to the real world…

That must be a big dent, but in all seriousness, you should see if the body shop can make a quicker turnaround. I don’t think repair business is that busy given that a lot of people are not on the road.

Point in case for rental car coverage on your insurance, it’s so cheap. I think it’s $7 or $8 for six months

Send me a PM, I have a code for National Car Rental that should get you a car for around $30/day

@joeblogs Lesson learnt, I have added rental coverage to my policy since. @Closer_2001 I will PM you, Thank you!

check out turo. you can probably find something cheap for just the days you need it depending on where you are

You can get a mid size from Hertz for $20 a day tax included. Check out hotwire and just don’t pick up from airports if Turo doesn’t work out.
