Good luck … I was in the market for that exact model in Massachusetts, roughly same payment with zero down. Couldn’t get close, so I got a nicely appointed Hyundai Tucson SE Plus AWD (has leather, nav, blind spot detection) for $289 with zero down. I had a CR-V prior to this, and I like the Tucson so much better. Honda doesn’t seem interested in any good offers on the 2017 CR-V redesign … I’ve been following MF on Edmunds, and it’s holding steady at .00020. I gave up on Honda, and I’m glad I did!
You either have to wait and hope that their sales slow down, move on, or pay up. It’s a highly desired SUV and they can mark up the prices. You’d have much better luck with a Rogue which is quite similar and also very up to date features wise. The new compass is a similar option but its smaller, prolly closer to the HRV. RAV4 you can get good deals on but the infotainment system and some other stuff is a little dated compared to newly remodeled stuff like the CRV.
But yeah if you can wait then maybe you could get lucky late in the year but I wouldn’t count on it. Its high up on my list and my lease is over in Nov/Dec but I’m not counting on getting it for the price I want (below $320).
