Honda Civic LX lease - San Diego, CA - Is this a good deal?

Hi all,

Wanted to get your input on a lease I am looking at. This is for a 2019 Honda Civic LX lease, 12k miles, 3-year lease, 0 down sign & drive. This is in San Diego, CA. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance! IMG_8878|375x500

They say they are covering the first payment, so what is DAS?

DAS = $0.

They are also going to pay first month payment and registration.

I’m no Honda expert but that looks pretty good to me, how many quotes did you get? You might have equity at the end too

What is the sale price before incentives?

21,280 they are letting it go for 18,477.77

So he is paying msrp before any incentives? I’d say that isn’t a good deal

The sale price of the car is 18,477.77. Not paying anything anything else. $0 drive off.

I get that. I wouldn’t sign a deal without knowing what incentives were available in my area.

Just to confirm that @JSM28 and I understand what you are saying…are you saying aside from the discounted price of 18,477.77, we should ask the salesperson to see what additional incentives are available? I’d assume the salesperson will say the incentive is a 2,802.23 discount (or something along those lines). Could you help us better understand what we are asking for? We appreciate your help, thank you!

@HondaSoCal

@Gmail_drive I checked and there are no “special” honda incentives.

The deal is as follows:
Sale Price - $18,477.77
Residual - $12,342.40
Money Factor - 0.00108
Term - 36 months
$0 Drive off - They pay registration and first months payment
Monthly Payment is 221 + tax = 238/month

Can you someone review the attached image of the quote. #27 looks fishy, “ Amount due at start $652.34 - Does that mean i have to pay that before driving off?
Any feedback is appreciated.

Is this a good deal?

Wow! No Honda Civic incentives this month for San Diego. That’s surprising. If that really is the case I would say 13% off MSRP is a good deal

The $652 is drive-offs that are probably rolled into the other 35 payments. There is $1200 lease cash and they used all of it to get you the deal. At 9.5% tax in LA it usually comes in around $260 with $0 down as rock-bottomish so I’d say the quote is fine. Feel free to shop it but I think you’re not saving more than $3-$4 a month.

Edit: Pay more for the Civic Sport Sedan. Worth it

@HondaSoCal What you say a good lease deal is for a Honda Civic Sport Sedan is? I am based in SD. Your advice is appreciated?

Did U check with Lemon Grove Honda?
I used him for two Honda’s and they beat all SD prices. Ask for Kevin Polzer. He has beat all LA and Temecula quotes.
Send him ur quote and ask him to beat. He will!
