I don’t think I’ve actually said it: I would recommend keeping the car and living with it for now until you’re sure you want to switch to EV. Get a FastTrak toll tag ASAP (Costco sells them around here, or you can get them online) for those bridge crossings. Unless you can get your employer to reimburse you - it’s like $6 or $8 per crossing now, but it’s only in one direction (Westbound for East-West bridges), so you only pay once per day…
I agree. Keep the Highlander for now and once you are settled in, decide what your car needs are. You have a good payment and probably can’t replicate that in CA if you got rid of it.
Yep, forget about adding one more complication to this geographic. Car is fine. Get moved, situated, then decide if you want to be a left coast hippy and get the Volt…
