This is such great advice.
I believe this was missed out earlier. Can someone comment if this is worth the price? or just useless?
FWIW, I am currently working with a few brokers as well and hoping still to get an i4e35 in Bay Area through them
This stuff is generally useless but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re presented with a choice to decline them.
Might be a package deal
Really? 99.9999% sure I have a BMW dealership there… @vmishra - feel free to reach out.
These are just dealer add-on’s. 99% of dealers that have add-on’s like this aren’t just going to remove them because you ask even if they’re worthless to you. You just need to focus on the total deal. Getting into the weeds with the sales rep about add-on’s is a complete waste of time.
I would recommend working with a broker from LH. But if you decide to go about this on your own, I’ll toss Concord BMW out there as a good option. I’ve purchased and helped lease three cars from them in the last 18 months.
Thanks @NorCalHackr Yes I am working with some brokers too on LH
Will keep in mind about Concord BMW too
@vmishra PM’d you
So, thanks to all the inputs here, I have learnt a lot, connected with a few amazing brokers here and also have some progress on our lease
Right of the bat, we are surely picky in what features/package we want and especially the ones we do not want
And it was extremely hard to get one in-stock car with all that we wanted with no additional feature/cost
So we decided to go with a custom order through a few brokers and have a couple of quotes
The best one (both from numbers and how they have responded to our queries) is below.
Would love to know what y’all think?
- 36/15k with $1500 driveoff and 7x MSDs ($4550) due at signing.
- Payment is ~$620 including tax, for San Francisco Bay Area and pickup in LA Area.
- Likely to be ready by April/May
- Brokers Fees $499
Do you know that BMW allows you to add more miles to your lease at anytime? And one-time, they let you distribute the cost of those miles over the remaining payments. For the I4, the charge is $0.23 a mile. You are losing 3% residual at 15K miles compared to 10K miles.
Oh had no idea. so yes I will ask about that and if thats possible will take that route
So if I lower it to 12k, the new numbers look below
- 36/12k with $1500 driveoff and 7x MSDs ($4200) due at signing.
- Payment is ~$587 including tax, for San Francisco Bay Area and pickup in LA Area
- Likely to be ready by April/May
- Brokers Fees $499
My other confusion here is, for a new order, you would think your timing would be pretty close to a 2025. I am assuming this is being quoted as a 2024.
Its for 2024 model year as I understand
And undoubtedly ZZAutoDeals is the best broker with that quote above ![]()
Correct. No allocations or programs for 2025 i4’s yet. Still being built as 2024’s.
Which dealers would you recommend in the east bay?
Unfortunately if @ZZAutoDeals can’t help you, it’s unlikely you’ll have much more luck on your own unless you head up past Elk Grove or down to Fresno.
Fremont BMW last year seemed more willing to do deals than any other SF Bay Area dealer. And they gave buy rate MF rather quickly. Unfortunately, I was told the sales manager that helped me get into a i4 isn’t at the dealership any more.
East Bay BMW and Peter Pan BMW are a huge waste of your time if you try to compare deals vs what others on LH are paying. Steven’s Creek is kind of hit or miss, they’ve actually had some i7 units advertised on LH through brokers. I don’t recall seeing any of their other units advertised here, and the people I know that have contacted Steven’s Creek haven’t had much luck getting LH-quality deals. Weatherford has almost no selection and isn’t worth your time IMO.
Concord BMW is the only wildcard for me… I couldn’t even get someone there to respond to my email hah.
Thanks @holeydonut, but I don’t believe he’s reached out to me. If he does, I’d be happy to help. I work with several dealers in NorCal and can assist.

@luismc Being in the active shopping mode a few weeks ago, I too first started reaching out to Bay area dealers and then rightly pointed out by LH community that its a waste of time
Since then, I have connected with a few brokers here and that has been a much rewarding experience so I would recommend to do that unless you aboslutely want to work directly with a dealer
Quick plug to @ZZAutoDeals, surely one of the best experience and smooth and transparent communication for me ![]()
Side note: I did get responses from Concord, Fremont dealership though but nothing lucrative enough
