Help with X7 End of Lease Buyout

Trying to think through options. My 2020 BMW X7 lease is coming to term. I have had offers from dealers at $10-15k over buyout on lease ($47,044.80).

Right now, I’m getting quotes for leases at MSRP minus about $2,000, but with no commitment from the lease dealers as to the “value” of the trade in.

Is the general consensus that we are on the “edge” of drop on prices? For example, is it best for me just to buy this out in cash, weight 3 to 6 months until things slow down and then try to do a better deal on the lease? The lease for the new X7 is about 25% to 30% more than my old lease.

If you have no other car and you need this car to get around buy it. If you sell now and hope for a future lease you maybe stuck still.

No. Purely an economics question. Wife can drive one of our weekend cars.
