HELP with MB E300 2017 Loaner Lease in the Bay Area

I got a couple of quotes from 2 dealers in the Bay Area. They are both P1 package for 36 months 12k miles lease.

First quote:

I’m not sure if $470 is before or after tax+interest, also no indication of how many MSD and MF. I need to clarify.

Second quote:
Terms: 12k/year for 36 months
Original MSRP: $58,845
Selling price: $46,984
Down payment: $0
Drive off including 10 security deposits: $6439.60
Resdidual: 59% ($34,342.55)
Monthly before tax: $448.15
Monthly after tax: $489.60
Tax rate used for this example is based on Alameda County (9.75%)
Monthly tax: $41.45
Money Factor: .00077
Fixed costs: $1095 acquisition fee, $80 Doc fee +various DMV and tire fees
Total of payments: $17,625.60

I was told the the residual rate is 59% for 12k loaner. Is that correct? I have seen 62% on this forum. I have asked for dealer discount and fleet discount but they both said no, with the price is already too low excuse.

It’s my first time leasing. Please let me know what I can improve. Thank you!

First thing is the mf should be .00037 so they have that marked up. The residual is right. Ideally you get the price down some from where it is.

Is this from Mercedes of San Francisco? Those people there suck. They lied to me and someone else I know numerous times.

Thanks, the top quote is from MBSF. It wasn’t very clear. What did they lie to you and your friends?

So if I max out 10 MSD, MF should be .00037 at any dealer?

What else can I ask them to reduce?

Thanks

Only other thing besides the mf is asking them to reduce the sale price and reduce the acquisition from $1095 to $795. Dealers find it hard to relinquish the rights from Mercedes that allows them to mark up the aquisition from $795 to $1095.

Thanks. Is MF .00037 BEFORE the MSD and autopay? So after MSD and autopay it’s like 0.00001?

Lease Calculator

No .00037 is after 10 msd and autopay

May I ask where the MF .00037 comes from? Is it just the MF for the Bay Area? Is there anyway I can get it down to .0001 after MSD and autopay like other threads?

You might be thinking of a different car. I believe the e300 4matic had a lower starting mf and buying all 10 got you to that number you saw elsewhere. The e300 rwd starts at .00117 and after 10 msd and autopay puts you at .00037.

This is a recent E300 deal that got actual MF down to .00012 after MSD and autopay.

E300

The title clearly says 4matic. 4matic has a different mf. The examples you are using and most of what you will see on the west coast are the rwd e300.

Oh I see, thanks for the explanation! On the second quote

Dumb question but I just want to make sure: the Monthly before tax: $448.15, does it include interest? and Monthly after tax: $489.60 is the total I pay every month?

Interest is included in both of those numbers. How many miles on this loaner E300? You should see if you can obtain a larger discount - as that is only 20% off.

Thanks, I asked for $44489 selling price. Should I ask even lower?

Well obviously the lower the better. The question is whether the dealer needs to sell that vehicle this month and whether they will discount that much. I have noticed it relatively easy to find some C300s for 25% off (with some being listed on websites at that level of discounting), e300s for that level of discount have been much harder to find.

Dealer would not budge. Gave me $500 off and that’s it. I might look around more.
