That “facilitation fee” is most likely the broker fee packed into the (marked up) acquisition fee.
D&M leasing, they are big in Dallas area. Like I said, I have used them forever and referred them countless customers.
Ask them for a free car, on account of the thousands and thousands they’ve swindled from you and your referrals.
Seems like it’s a company that preys on those with poor credit.
May be worth reconsidering that.
I’d be curious to see how their numbers compare to a normal deal. Are they just bookkeeping things weird or are their deals as high as one would expect with thousands in nonsensical fees added.
I assume they just short the COD. Would be interesting to see what acquisition fee actually appears on the contract. Perhaps they’re not doing captive.
I am sorry but how does convenience prevent you from scrutinizing what you are spending your money on? Even if money is no object, going over numbers falls under leasing/car buying 101.
None of your referrals ever mention these outrageous fees to you?
You can just as easily walk into a dealer and get taken for a ride. Not really sure what the “convenience” factor amounts to when you can sign and drive the same day at any dealer if you are willing to overpay by thousands.
The only way a company like this could get so much business is from people who might not be approved by dealers. Predatory lender. Credit score doesn’t necessarily reflect financial health, but it often does. Buying more car than you can afford is a separate discussion, though.
Crazy amount of reviews, and 4 locations across the state…
GMF doesn’t even offer 54 month leases.
Yeah these are all 3rd party for sure
@BShaw75 - If you don’t mind me asking, what is your 3-bureau credit score? You can provide a range if you don’t want to share exact numbers.
So probably MF will be jacked up on a 54 month lease.
Longer lease + higher MF offsets the repos…
There used to be some scenarios where a third party lease through GM could take advantage of the bigger purchase incentives and come out better than whatever program GMF was offering. I haven’t seen that in quite a while. I really doubt that’s the case here either. I wonder who is doing the financing on these? It’s almost like a buy here, pay here lease.
"I reached out after hearing good things on The Ticket. I needed an SUV and kind of liked the Highlander. Daniel F. got back to me and after a couple tries finally got me a quote for a Toyota Highlander with an MSRP of $35,000. Here’s the deal they offered:
- 5 year lease (even their commercials say if your financing for longer than 48 months then you’re doing it wrong).
- $3500 down.
- $589/month"
lmao
someone bought a boat.
Yeah this is one of those convenience factor things.
Their deals are trash
That’s what you get, leasing it with “D&M Leasing.” Can I not just get you the 1794?
This has got to be a troll post, right?
When I want convenience, I fly first-class. There is nothing convenient about bending over for 48-54 months…
