So I have been shopping around lease for my area, Miami FL and have gotten a few offers already however I’m not quite satisfied with the deals.
This was my initial offer
it reads as:
- Adjusted Cap Cost: 24,647.49
- Selling Price: 23,077.14
- Dealer Cost: 25,339.75
- Down Payment: 683.15 - TAX: 43.62
- MNM value price: 599
- Delivery & handling: 999
- Acquistion Fee: 599
- Inception Fee: 1083.23
The monthly would be: 277.64 + tax with 0 drive off
I mention the above because I got a second offer from the same dealer but not on an official note, it is more clear to read
The new offer would be: 237.61 + 1000 down + tax => 265.38 + tax a month. For this new offer I am assuming that none of the original fees have changed.
My other offer which was over email advertised:
- Adjusted Cap Cost: 22,645
- Residual Value: 58%
- Money Factor: 0.00018
- Inception: 1855
with the option to roll 1255 back into the Cap Cost, that would come out to 249.75 + 600 + tax => 265.38 + tax which then got lowered to 263 per month with tax included + window tinting (they lowered the inception fee). Im wondering for this last offer if its a good deal? Or if I could pressure even further down? Thanks again for taking the time to read this!
Is this for the Sport AWD or FWD?
This is a Sport FWD model
I think you can do a little better than $277 with zero down. I was looking at a CX5 touring with premium package AWD with 0 down I was getting $285pm. This is in PA but still the sticker on that model was 27K.
A follow up question would be if its worth going a higher trim level if I can’t get below 260 per month, and how likely would the dealers I’m already in contact with to give me a deal such as the one you just posted
I’m not sure if going to a higher trim will help but I went in to the Mazda dealership after I saw their website was advertising a sport AWD for $225 a month with zero down and then I saw the touring and I dealt with them on that… I also went at the end of the month and I got the best price from one dealer and went to another to get them to compete. I went to another dealer via their internet sales department and I only went in after they quoted me out the door price that I wanted… I ended up not getting it because the numbers weren’t right when factoring in terminating my current lease early… Hope this helps
36/12k Mazda CX-5 touring - 0 money down, 969 (first month + documents), no dealer fee 283 including tax per month
So I just came back from the dealership, this is what they were offering my on the Mazda CX-5 touring compared to the CX-5 sport which was 273 per month including tax. I think for the 10 dollar difference I’m going to end up going with the touring, my other question is if I waited (and I can wait for memorial day) is the price difference truly worth?
I’m looking at the CX-5 Touring w/ Premium Package in Ohio now too and wasn’t able to get my dealer down past $370/m with $0 down. That was with a .59 residual and a MSRP down to 28k or so I believe. Even dropped to FWD instead with premium package and couldn’t get lower than $340. Hmm
