Help hacking a 2017 Nissan Maxima 3.5 S [Lease]

UPDATE 7/14/17 4:00PM EST:
I am emailing local dealerships in my area this ad from a PA dealership http://www.extonnissan.com/new-nissan-offers.htm?gclid=CPHqtbLbh9UCFUhLDQod3nwLTQ

The ad offers the “SV” trim for $219/mo + $0 down (includes 1st month payment but does not include tax/title/tag/dealer fee/bank fee).

I decided to email a picture of that ad to the local nissan dealers around me to see what #'s I can get through email vs going in person.

One of them got back to me saying they can do $319/mo + $0 down (INCLUDES all tax / tag / fees, etc.) & 12K/36mo

This seems like a great deal as $319 x 36= $11,484 total on a car with a MSRP of $36K.

Thoughts on this / anything to be weary about? The dealership is over an hour drive so I dont want to get there and then they change all the #s!

Thank you in advance for your help

[ORIGINAL POST BELOW:]

Hey all,

went into the Nissan dealership today and test drove the nissan Maxima.

They got me in with this ad “$229/mo + $1,823 at signing” + tax/tag/title/fees

After requesting them to honor the ad on their website, they gave me these #'s :
(1) $1895 down + $338/mo (includes 100% of taxes/fees)
(2) $4,795 down + $255/mo (includes 100% of taxes/fees)

I tried negotiating them down on this price but the GM wouldn’t budge.

Have any ideas how we can hackr this lease?

Here is the breakdown on their #s:
MSRP: $33,915
SAVINGS: $7000
VEHICLE PURCHASE PRICE: $26,915
PRE-DELIVERY SERVICE CHARGE: $899
STATE & LOCAL TAXES: 0 (they added this # into the monthly - I live in FL so i believe there is 6% sales tax)
LICENSE AND FEES: 0 (they added this # into the monthly - i believe there is $450 title fee & i’m not sure of the tag fee)
TOTAL SALE PRICE: $27,814 (excludes tax/title/tag)

When I took a closer look at the lease ad they had on their website it states:

$229/mo + $1,823 at signing + tax/tag/title/fees.

Lets break that down:
36 months @ 229 = $8244
down payment: $999
1st month: $229
Acquistion: $595
[Total down payment: $1823]
Dealer fee: $899
Title: $450
Tag: ~$250
Tax: ~600

If we add all of that up we get: ~$12,267.
Comparing that to what they offered me ($1895 down + $338/mo) that comes out to ~$14K!

So there is roughly a $2,000 difference on what they are offering me and the ad they have online.

Any insights to hackring this deal would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

I understand you live in Florida and this deal is valid for a Pennsylvania dealer, but if they can do $219 a month for an SV trim due to the incentives, you could do slightly better.

you can start with that $899 pre-delivery service charge.
that’s some shameless shiznit right there.

Thank you @fillman39. I have screenshot that ad and emailed the GSM of 10 nissan dealers around my area to see what response I get. I will keep you posted.

@HerrDoktorProfessor the sales man I was dealing with told me that all dealerships must have it. Was he pulling a quick one on me ?

You should tell the salesman that you can help them find a guy who will detail all of their cars with the fancy vacuum striping for $300 apiece.

That way, you’re helping the dealer save money and you should get an additional $2k off the price for helping them out.

@fillman39

I decided to email that ad you provided to a couple dealerships in my area

One of them got back to me saying they can do $319/mo + $0 down (INCLUDES all tax / tag / fees, etc.) & 12K/36mo

This seems like a great deal as $319 x 36= $11,484 total on a car with a MSRP of $36K.

Thank you in advance for your help

Find out the total terms of the lease and where the fees are added. To me the price sounds good, but under $300 would be great.

Will post the #'s when I hear a response.

Thank you!
