Help: 2018 Subaru BRZ Limited Lease quote

Happy New Year everyone.
I’m thinking about leasing 2018 Subaru BRZ for 36 months, and this is the price that I got from a dealer…

I feel like it’s a bit pricey, but other dealers around me have pretty similar offers. So my question is, is it a descent deal? I think I can negotiate a bit, but dont know where to start from :anguished:

Thank you for reading!

Ask for a more detailed breakdown so you can see the money factor, residual, and sales price before incentives (which I doubt there are any on this car). That way you can compare them with what the edmunds forum says they should be. From there, you can try to push them down on their sales price.

Thank you very much. I will ask the dealer about the things that you mentioned. I have never leased a car, and it seems like Im missing a lot of important things.

Almost 425 a month effective payment on a 31k dollar coupe who’s sales have been struggling for several years now because Subaru fails to innovate… they should be paying you to take this car, not the other way around.

I find this offer to be quite insulting. Also, I kind of hate that the ad makes it sound like having a manual was a derogatory thing… I would only have this car in manual…

Either way, for these numbers you should look at the 2019 Mazda Miata RF. Better car, in my opinion and one of the major reasons why BRZ sales have sagged, among others.

Bad deal on being automatic alone

Agreed. He also notes it’s not on that car. He says an MSRP of 26455, and not the $31K car you have pictured. Definitely not a good deal but that also seems strange.

If the msrp is 26xxx before discounts and you have to have it, buy a gently used one or push for discounts and buy this one. Don’t lease it.

If you are in Southern California. Subaru Orange Coast is doing up to 20% off on all remaining 2018 Subaru BRZ.
