0.25 on my Challenger as well.
I did lease in feb Vs Jan but that seems like an extreme jump. The paperwork was Chrysler capital.
More to the story… I actually originally signed a .25 per mile contract. They called me the following day and said they made an error regarding rolling a nj gas guzzler motor vehicle fee into my payment as it is supposed to be paid up front.
They said they would keep my payment the same and reduce the selling price of the car to make up for it. Obviously something is missing if they lower the selling price and the payment stays the same but I figured they just marked up he mf to break even. They also said they made an error on the cents per mile over and it is .40 instead of .25. I signed the new contract because I know them personally and didn’t want to cause an issue.
Now they say .50 instead of .40 because of another error. Is there anyway to look this stuff up online?

I’m dealing with virtually the same issue except I signed my deal over two weeks ago. The finance manager called me over the weekend and insists that Chrysler will not except the .25 over miles on the original deal and is now sending out a new contract for .50…btw my deal was signed in Jan…
lol just when I thought I had seen every single dirty trick that dealerships play, here comes a new one 
Because there are multiple dealers that do it, I’d think there might have been some miscommunication between Chrysler finance and dealers - dealers used standard .25 rates instead of new .50.

Ho Ho Ho! I just got a new contract mailed to me. I did a quick glance and YEP! They want me to sign a contract with .50 per mile excess.
So I’m thinking of a couple things I can tell them to do with this new contract:
- Pound sand and take a hike.
- Sign new contract and have them refund me $1,375 drive offs.
- Take back the Hellcat and fully refund all money. (BTW car has already over 1k miles in 3 weeks!)

Ahh they got you too. How many days ago did you take delivery. There should be a dealer right to cancel clause on the back of the contract. I think it’s normally 10 days.
He took delivery in January so he is well past that. I might have missed it but why did they resend your documents?
Same reason. Trying to change my excess mileage to .50/mi
Sounds like the airlines. Nickle and diming you. I bet someone did an analysis and said hey this is extra profit based on how many miles over the allotted mileage people go.

Option 3. Tell them they can have car back.
Why? When you lease a car you don’t plan to go over mileage, so what’s the problem? I don’t even know what it is for my Volvo. Otherwise you wouldn’t lease or got 15K instead of 10K, for example. But if one leases a car knowing well he’ll go over mileage, then it’s just plain stupid
I noticed on Chryslers website that the overage for mileage is .25 except for SRT’s which are $.50 per mile. My guess it the finance guys at your various dealers were missing this. Not sure what the remedy is.

Which dealer did you use? Wondering if I’ll be getting a new contract too.
Ultimately I’m probably just going to sign. Like ursus said… I leased for 12k/yr without the intention of driving over that. The car is still the same smoking deal it was before… as long as I don’t go over 36k.
…and if you know you will - someone will grab it off your hands on lease takeover
