Have we hit peak Federal interest rates?

Unless related to the original point of this website, leases, pretty much all comments on here are out of hand.

You mean to tell me the arsonists won’t be the ones putting out the fire???

Yeah. If only we had a spot where we could, maybe, discuss something off topic. Hey, let’s call it Off Ramp!

Ok this is my last post. We can debate data in another forum if there is one. From Fauci, Biden, Walensky, Gates, etc etc clearly stated it would stop not lower (and data on that is clear it did not) transmission. So they lied, when they never tested against transmission as testified in the EU parliament by a Pfizer executive recently. On mortality, I trust Israel and UK numbers better than US number. And clearly when US was saying 99% are unvaxxed in 2021 and 2022, UK data and Israel data showed differently.

Absolute numbers are a ridiculous metric for comparison here, 93% of the U.K. pop is vaccinated so of course there will be many many more total vax’d deaths.

To try and suggest the vaccine has not saved millions of life is just mad anti-vax rhetoric

Against Alpha especially, the U.K. basically turned around its death rate, original way above the US’s, to the point where the far less vax’d US pop quickly caught up and surpassed it.

The anti-vax movement have many deaths on their hands

Note how with Alpha the vax pretty much knocked deaths completely on the head in the heavily vax’d U.K. and Israeli pops.

Even with Delta the higher vax rate made a huge difference to death rates.

Only Omicron has saved the US

Stay on topic.

Except in our society elitism is predominately inherited and not earned. There’s a huge difference and I use the term “elitist” in a ironic and condescending manner to refer to these psychopathic liars.

This isn’t a left/right political issue. The entire spectrum is a corrupt cesspool.

Only if there’s a payout for them.

The point of the post wasn’t where to post, it was the amount of opinionated miss information. But what else can we expect, it’s the internet.

Yeah, “Off-Ramp” because it’s everything not directly related to cars. Doesn’t mean we should talk about interest rates in Omega watches thread, or about WFH in the Interest Rates thread, or about homeless in Travel Hacks thread. Everything can have its own thread in Off-Ramp, after all.

So, with carvana down almost zero…who is thinking about gambling on their stock

I am putting all my Carvana couch-cushion-coins in Powerball tickets. At least if I lose, I can use them as kindling.

Think the ships sailed on this one. Buy the rumor sell the news. Carvana all over the news.

I suggested nothing. I said I took it. I think mandates and firing people were commie practices. And, they clearly lied on it on transmission. Mortality in Israel has not changed since the vaxx so not sure if it is truly effective. Anyways, whatever you say.

I think we should wait till after election results to assess rates. However, how do you unwind 10 trillion from the Fed? That is a bigger problem. 4 trillion from 2008 never got unwinded truly. I think inflation will need to rise to support next QE round.

The bigger problem nobody wants to talk about is that we’ve been printing money and have been sitting on cheap rates since 2008. Add the covid handouts, throw in a few shortages to constrain supply, and here we are. I never really understood the whole “funny money” concept of money that’s backed by nothing.

I don’t really understand the full story behind them collapsing. Why would an online-only retailer be inherently worse-off than the rest of traditional car dealerships?

Everything is bought on the internet now, so why would cars be any different? This method has to persist now that it exists, right? It’s not as if online car buying will entirely disappear.

This thread from May was informative, but start with the article linked on this post

honestly, despite all of their inherent issues, the core of what you said seems to be the future…which is what motivated me to make the original post. Because of their initial momentum, can they right their ship, and become a major player (again)? Who knows, but I’m wondering if gambling on a few hundred shares may not be fun
