Hann Financial Leasing

I wanted to see if anyone here has ever dealt with Hann before? I have a lease maturing shortly and found some very poor reviews in regard to their lease return process.

You better bet imo would be asking an industry insider like one of the brokers or the @RVguy for a non-anecdotal take on the issue.

I had a Honda lease with them once. It was completely smashed and then put together just before the lease return, so they couldn’t find a single scratch. They did offer a significant discount off residual, possibly due to the accident. Then a guy showed up with a tow truck and took it away. It was pretty painless.

I leased a CRV through Haan years ago. It was returned with some scratches on it that in my infinite wisdom I decided to touch up myself and I did a pretty terrible job if I do say so myself. I got a bill from them for Mileage overage of all things, which was hilarious because I had a 12k lease and they insisted it was 10k. I produced the contract and that was the end of that, no charge. They never went after me for the scratches.

I’ve returned several leases to Hann the last two years. They are pretty stringent with what they allow for normal wear. What I tell my customers is to have Hann inspect the car and let you know what they would charge you for. I then get a quote from an autobody shop or two. If time is an issue you can extend your lease return date until repairs are completed. I’ve gotten up to ten days at no extra charge.
