Hackers - need just a bit of help here if possible. I am trying to match the numbers given to me by my BMW dealer into the lease calculator…I’m close but for the life of me I can’t get it to match exactly. Here’s the calculator:
Here are the details:
MSRP [including acquisition fee]: $54,320
Selling price of vehicle: $51,500
$1000 Loyalty
500 NYS clean energy incentive
Net Price $50,000
Residual: 31505.60
Money Factor: .00111
Lease price: 659.37
If anyone can lend a hand i’d really appreciate it. BTW, I know some may not think this is a GREAT deal, but not much to be had these days on cars of interest.
Did they give you the residual dollar value or percentage? MSRP doesn’t include acquisition fee (does include destination, is that what you meant?), so if they gave you the RV % and you’re calculating it off of MSRP + acq fee, you’d get an incorrect RV $.
Hey - thanks for responding - so you are right it was destination fee instead of acquisition fee - any idea why the calculator wouldn’t be syncing up? It’s a minor difference, but just trying to figure it out.
