Gulf States Toyota Deals Available to Florida Residents?

Does anyone know if Gulf State Toyota dealers can offer Florida residents the incentives they offer their home states? Reason I ask is that I see that they offer the Tundra TSS package, which seems to be a regional package. I inquired at a few Texas dealers and it looks like they were only available to Texas residents. I was wondering if other states in the region have the same restrictions?

Ideally, I would love to grab one of those Tundra TSS and bring it back to Florida with their aggressive lease offers and incentives.

Yeah, so…
99% of Toyota dealerships in Gulf State regions have this binding agreement with Toyota Financial Services of not leasing vehicles out of state.

I would love to bypass everything and lease the truck to you, but with that agreement, I just can’t.
Unless you are able to somehow change your address to TX and you are able to prove that.
(Like if you have a relative, friends, or etc. living in TX and proving that you are living with them)

He’s clearly not a Texas resident so why are you blowing a dog whistle? :wink wink lets make you a Texas resident on paper and commit fraud together::

Even if he “becomes” a TX resident, wouldn’t he be taxed on the full amount instead of the monthly payments? It will be a wash probably.

Nah, I wouldn’t let anyone commit to something nor do I recommend it. And I believe I clearly stated the prerequisite.

Yeah, full amount on the purchase price of the truck. If the MSRP was $50,875.00 and I get the price down to $45,500, then multiply $45,500 x 6.25%!

Nobody in their right mind would do an out of state deal by pretending to be from Texas due to that sales tax issue.

Thanks for the replies. Definitely had zero interest in fudging the registration. Just wondering if other Gulf states can offer deals to Floridians. Pretty weak offers around here.

I mean the deal should be good in FL, no?

Have you reached out to Tom or Rocky @RockyStadiumToyota to see what he can do?

Yes, we can sell you a truck with an out of state registration no problem, but leasing it’s a much complicated story.

You can maybe go thru a broker and get a deal. They should be able to help you out.
