Interesting. I truly can’t see many of these going out the door for over $90K. Obviously as a good lease hackr, I’d never go into a Lease using anything directly off the website… however, I did find this little calculator on my dealer’s website and it gives an entirely different number than what the dealer was quoting in terms of lease rates. Of course they won’t show the assumptions here, but you can “submit this to dealer” to see if they’d match it. It also valued my trade in (2018 Volvo XC90 T5 Momentum AWD) at $38,816 which seems pretty high.
Just saw one of these at lunch in full camo wrap. Not sure why since everyone knows what it looks like.
Sometimes they just don’t take it off. Back in the day I saw a Q50 RS factory car in camo a year or so after it came out.
Could have been a mule.
Ha. Maybe it’s the mule 4xe version of the Wagoneer!
Maybe it’s the Demon Wagon
The grille and wheels were all black, but the wheels were pretty small. I think it was a regular Wagoneer and not likely to be a performance model. I wish I looked closer for a charging port…
So these are apparently selling terribly. FCA has put 1500 conquest on them (Wagoneer Conquest TDM Offer at Jeff Perry Auto Group in Rochelle IL - 452246754-2022-Jeep-Wagoneer-Series_III_4x4-5189927090-Wagoneer_Conquest_TDM_Offer-Rochelle-IL) and discounts are definitely possible on in stock units. Lease terms are poor overall, .00161 buy rate and residuals under 50% for 36/10.
Anything with four wheels is selling right now. Terrible is a relative word lol
I guess there aren’t many takers for a Stellantis SUV at $90k+, color me shocked.
It is a flawed search, but on Cars dot com there are way more Grand Wagoneers available nationwide (1,447) than Navigators (338) or Escalade ESVs (456).
This would certainly support the theory that they aren’t selling as quick as those two brands. Lincoln and Cadillac certainly don’t have any incentives on those two models.
This was always going to be an uphill fight for Jeep. Cadillac and Lincoln both have cheaper models that sell in large number to livery operators. I understand why Jeep didn’t want this associated with livery use or rental car lots but by not offering a real base model they passed on the chance of significant fleet or rental sales to provide some sales volume.
For the Grand Wagoneer and moderately to well equipped Escalade/Navigators it is about convincing rich suburbanites to that this is a vehicle of the same stature as a X7 or Land Rover.
Bingo. 6 figure barrier for Jeep brand.
it seems like all stelantis SUVs have terrible residuals
It’s reflective of their real-world resale value.
don’t tell Carmax that lol
The wording in the link makes it sound like one of those targeted offers Jeep sends in the snail-mail/email from time to time to select individuals rather than a full on conquest incentive. Edmunds/Autobytel doesn’t have it either.
Yea. TDM = targeted direct mail.
I believe certain regions can get codes from their business centers upon ask.
Let’s see what Carmax is paying for these rigs in three years. There is just an immense amount of tech and “stuff” in this car that can break. Combine that with Jeep’s unremarkable history of quality control and its shorter warranty than any of this cars competitors (Cadillac, Lincoln, BMW and Mercedes are all 4 years/50K versus 3/36 for the Jeep).
I see the 50% range being a pretty good guess for RV.
Anyone see the GW ad during the playoffs?
They don’t mention Jeep at all.
I wonder why
