The dealer took care my 2019 xc60 60 r-design.
3month payments left +2000 over mileages.
The 2019 xc60 was 450/month , and had a $34500 buy out (not including tax)

Actually we did not told about how much the trade In was, because I have got quotes from caravan/carmax/voorm how much it was worth for them to buyout on my 2019 xc60. The highest quote from carmax was $38000,which mean there was no equality for me even if i brought out the lease + tax then sale to carmax.
I’m sure the dealer could make some money from my 2019xc60 , but not as low as could cover the discount that make the payment to be $550 .
I’m not sure if it’s my explanation clear or not.
Thanks for sharing this, I’m nearing the end of my 2019 XC60 T6 AWD INS lease. Was leaning towards buyout and holding at least 6-12 months if not longer as I believe any equity (possibly 8-10k) will just be eaten up by higher lease/new car price.
I think this confirms this for me. In 2019, my $55k MSRP car was $49400 after discounts, I paid just the first month payment and 2MSD, so my monthly was about $640. My total payments plus $0 DAS was ~$23,450. This cap cost # also included 100% of the 6% sales tax (MD). This was a 12,000 miles/36mo lease.
So basically $2,000 more paid over the three years for a B5MOM (not T6INS) and haven’t paid sales tax on the buyout (1680 in MD or possibly more where you’re at). So I’m saying ~$3700 more for a Momentum B5 vs Inscription T6 compared to three years, ago, I’d imagine comparing the B5INS to T6 INS shows a much bigger premium vs 2019. Ugh.
Anyway this was super helpful to see a real world example, so thank you!
