Is it possible at all to replicate the crazy lease prices that other members are getting for the Chevy Equinox EV without qualifying for much of the rebates?
SoCal region
The only rebates I believe I qualify for seem to be the following:
GM College Offer - $500.00
Purchase Allowance for Current Eligible Non-GM Owners and Lessees - $1,500.00
GM credit Card Offer - $500.00
This would be the first car I’m leasing (ever). Just wanted to see if I would be able to get a good deal at all. Just looking for the base model Chevy Equinox EV (LT).
You should be able to get a very good lease with $2500 in rebates. You won’t get what people that qualify for $4k+ get, but still good.
On paper the rebates are straight money off. If you saw a good offer signed in your area but that signer had $4k, you could have the exact same thing plus $1.5k. But I wouldn’t count on a dealer “sweetening the deal” because you don’t qualify for rebates. To them you either qualify or don’t, which directly means they either get that money or they don’t.
Edit: Also, you have to apply for the GM card through the link they give but please don’t rely on getting approved. I have a 770+ credit score with 3 inquiries in the past 2 years and was declined. The salesman was very surprised but said he has seen quite a few declines from qualified applicants in the past few months.
