Good Deal to buy out Ioniq 5 Lease?

But we have one pay (MB, Nissan) or option to buy from NJ dealer with MSDs for some selected brands.

Because I want to know if I’m getting a deal.

No One time pay for Hyundai unfortunately

$7500 is from Hyundai anywhere in the country, including NY.

I don’t know if I should lease a EQS or go for the Ioniq5 lol.

I can’t get anything over $2,500 off MSRP unfortunately. I tried with multiple dealers. And looking on LH I don’t see anything either for Ioniq5

It’s a pretty meh deal. I have the EQS and you would enjoy it a lot more than any Hyundai, now is a good time to hunt for those.

I did but could not find any 2022’s. Also it’s a lease not own. So $16k for two years right?
Where in this case $40k owning it

Low trim (SE and SEL) Ioniq 5s are crappy and don’t have good resale either. Might as well get a Model Y.

Ioniq 5 Limited or bust.

Yes $16k for 2 years for the EQS. Ioniq5 lower trim levels will have pretty terrible resale values so your Total Cost of Ownership might actually end up being similar.

The problem is, I’ve called all dealers in California and none have a 22’s loaner. a great deal if you can find one, but I gave up on that gravy train a month ago.

Only difference between a Limited and SEL is the glass roof, ventilated seats and 360 degree camera. Limited’s are also $59,000. Even let’s say we can get $4k off, at $55k, still not worth it.

Model Y is great due to charging stations and room inside. But the ride was rough, and there was a lot of interior noise due to glass bouncing noise all over.

It’s not a matter of difference for you, the market prices the trims differently. Limited holds value better.

And premium audio.

360 camera and premium audio are the big plusses even though the Bose audio is just meh. The SE/SEL audio are just… ugh… sub par to be nice. SE with cloth seats and barebone features is cheap. Sorry but at $47K, nobody can’t recommend it over a Model Y.

Resale for SE and SEL are pretty low. You don’t value the extra features but demand for the Limited is much higher than the other trims and the Limiteds are in low supply.

Also, good luck getting $4K off a Limited.

Yeah 4k off a limited is FAR from realistic, the limited is the trim in highest demand and lowest supply. Also these vehicles have no profit in them

its been next to impossible to find a limited trim in my area. i’ve only seen two and they were both 6 month old pre-orders that the buyers had been waiting on.

Hot tip. Hyundai of Central Florida has a bunch. Zero dealer fee. Zero markup. I think you are in Florida. They told me they have a Gravity Gold with grey interior.

My sales guy is Ryan Hawley.

Weird, some dealers nearby have no Limiteds or barely any allocated to them.

Everyone is selling MSRP, nothing special there. I’m currently getting $3k off MSRP. Issue is residuals suck on I5’s. And to pay almost $50k, you can get a Model Y “AWD” with more storage capacity and tesla chargers everywhere.

Residuals are meaningless in “purchase before maturity” (aka early buyout) - as is MF.

I’ve had 4 different Model Ys from mid-2021 to the end of 2022. The Limited is worth the extra cost ($59K minus $7500). The Y has a rough ride and is not very quiet. It’s very much a low/mid-40s type of car and now is priced correctly. The stereo is excellent and the infotainment is top-touch though.

I don’t recommend EVs for long road trips anyhow so Tesla Superchargers are mostly moot for me.

How about the EV6, wind or gt-line, rwd or awd?
The i5 deal is gone.

And it seems higher trims lose value big time
