Good deal? 2017 Infiniti Q50 3.0t v6 premium AWD w/ Navigation

I’m trying to see if the below is a good deal, and specifically, what the users here think would be good things to negotiate on. I’m in Illinois and my zip code is 60106. Thanks in advance and apologies if this is a repost or if I broke any rules

You have a $2600 downpayment which is an atrocious idea. I’d do sign and drive because the MF is so low

Thanks! My hope is to work on the down payment and see how close I can get it to zero. I’m hoping they’ll let me do a few months security deposit instead of a down payment.

MF is already super low, you can’t do MSDs.

Does it already have almost 5,000 miles on it?

Yup, it already has $5,000 miles on it. I forgot to mention this is a DEMO vehicle.
I’m asking about rebates/incentives and VPP right now. I’m hoping to get a little more knocked off of the selling price/ amount I have to put down.

That’s the right idea. Press for more off the purchase price and back off the cap cost reduction. See how far you can get. As it stands now it’s not worth it. I should qualify that, for an Infiniti, who are super aggressive, I think you have a bit more room to play with.

This deal would be worth it (in my opinion) if I can get the dealer to agree to a zero down payment with the same ($299 monthly). What are you thoughts on that?

They would balk at that is my thinking.

As others have said, you need to eliminate that cap cost reduction because you are essentially paying almost $370 per month for 10k and the vehicle is a demo. Doesn’t seem very good to me. I was under the impression there were lease incentives available as well.

See how far you can press them without the cap cost reduction. Don’t tell them ’ I want x per month’, see how much you can get them down.

Great - I have an e-mail out to them. I’m not in a need for a car so I can move on from this deal if they are not willing to drop the cap cost reduction.

Thank you all for your help.

The dealer ended up offering me a brand new (with no miles) Q50 3.0t V6 premium AWD w/ Nav.
We settled on:

$299 a month
$681 down payment
$1,799.50 upfront taxes & fees & first months
Total cash due at signing: $2,480

Unfortunately, they are not able to help me work something out with my current lease (i have about a year left) so I’m going to have to let this go.

If anyone in the Chicago/NW suburbs of IL is interested, i’m sure they could continue to work on the numbers. Please contact me and I can give you the dealer info & contact.

Thanks again for the input.

For 300ish this is a great deal. As good as the 400ish Audi A6 and the 100ish Hyundai Elantra

This looks to be a very good deal, wish I could get close to this in PA.

I may be interested. Could you please me the details?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks all! I’ve given the dealer information to two people from this forum. The sales person has contacted me and told me he had a few he could offer in this range.
