Good deal? 18 Stelvio Ti, MSRP 48600, 36/12, 475+tax

Hi, this is my first lease and here is the best quote I got for the Stelvio so far. I know, I know, I missed out on the August deals but this is what we have this month. This is for a brand new car with only 1st month DAS.

Here is the lease sheet.

No idea how he got 4250 rebates, I only heard of 3250 so far.

I did not know how to get the numbers in the results he got, so I played with the reg fee and the acq fee. I do not know how to make it right. Below is what I got:

He also said the Ally numbers are the same. I also got the Ally version of the lease sheet but I do not understand it at all, it is perhaps only correct for the 24 months, because the 36 month payment is not the same he gave me in the offer. He kept talking about the “bank fee” for Chrysler which is eliminated in the Ally version (wtf is the bank fee?). Lease calculation just works differently somehow with Ally.

Can anyone explain what is up with Ally and why it does not work? What the heck one MSD is doing there? And is there any way to improve it?

It is $490 if you add another $45 to your DMV fees. They have 1697 total fees and you’ve only put in a total of 1653. The extra $1k is likely the aged inventory cash to dealer.

Anyway, I think it is a good deal based on current numbers.

What is up with the Ally sheet? The MF is much lower with them yet the payment is the same once you factor in the $550 due at signing listed on that sheet. Yet I do get $475 with $0 DAS. So why is that $550 listed there? Unless that is buying down the rate somehow? I didn’t know Ally does that.

Ally doesn’t have a disposal fee at the end, which is likely what he is referring to.

Oh no…that number is way too high…

Compared to what? He is getting 18% off before incentives. The numbers are what they are this month and a large discount is all you can hope for. 18% is pretty damned large.

Thanks. Got anything better this month?

Well, I ended up taking it.
MSRP $48690. 36 months, 12k miles/year, including the $775 maintenance package for 3 years, all fees in, $0 drive off, 1st month payment waived, $510/month including 3% NC tax (35 payments total). I know I am late to the party but cannot go back to August now.

congrats. you went into it eyes wide open and got yourself a very nice car for what is still a decent payment. and I’m proud of you for not being one of the many folks complaining how they can’t get a deal now like they could have in August.

What NC dealer? I am in the market for a compact SUV, and haven’t formally looked at stelvios yet. ~500ish a month wouldn’t be terrible for me here.
