GMS family discount vs Negotiations

Is it better to negotiate a discount off MSRP first and then compare that to GMS price? How can I see what GMS price is?

IS it possible to get a unit cheaper without using GMS? To clarify I can get GM family discount through my Uncle. Should I target a price to see if they will accept before telling them I have an authorization number? Then later saying I have GMS will that get me more of a discount or would I just not have to use the GMS authorization number?

Can I get some knowledge here?

All depends on the model. What are you looking at

Is there a resource where I can find the GMS price on a vehicle?

What about the dealer websites that advertise GMS price? Is that price negotiable or is that what it is?

Login and that should show you the GM supplier price for different models.

It all depends on the model. Some models get employee pricing, some models get additional rebates for employees.

What model are you looking at

That is supplier discount. I get employee family discount.

Chevy Blazer or Traverse. GMC Acadia. Cadillac XT4 or XT5.

How does this differ on the dealer side? I’m hunting a few EV models and some don’t want to include the GMS (GEV) into the deal.

This site lists the discount for GM employee discount.

ICE cars usually get reduced pricing.

Dealers mostly participate as is direct rebate from the mfg
