I found a company code posted online and used it to register for the gm supplier discount. Anyone know if the company will be notified when I use the discount? I already registered and received the supplier discount code, Im just debating on whether it would be safe to use???
You will be asked for your employee badge or paycheck or W-2
Ursus is correct. I received affiliate pricing on my Charger and they had to verify that I was actually employed by my company. FCA did that on the back end so even if you game the system (get over on the dealer) they will come for their money at a later date. Just an FYI. On a side note, you should be able to negotiate down to or better than supplier so even if you don’t qualify it’s not a big deal
The supplier price is as mentioned a good starting point if you like to negotiate and try to get something even lower. However, if you have GM Credit Card earnings you also want to use, they usually can not be combined with the supplier price.
My wife is retired and was able to get supplier pricing while she worked. We always got a better deal without it and were always able to use our GM earnings. Now that she is retired, she is no longer eligible because it is only for the currently employed who have to submit a paycheck stub and or an ID issued by the company.
if you’re a costco member… you get supplier pricing with participating GM brand dealerships. https://www.costcoauto.com/enterzipcode.aspx?gotourl=%2Fdefault.aspx
You can use GM Card points with the Costco GM Holiday Program in October-December, assuming they run the program again.
