GM Rewards Sign Up

Hi everyone,

Looking into how to make sure I get the $500 rebate on the GM Rewards Card promotion for spending $1,000 at lease/purchase of a new GM vehicle. Working on a lease for a Cadillac Lyriq, but the dealer seemed like they don’t really know about this one. Trying to avoid spending hours at the dealer to figure this out.

How should I approach this? Is there a certain link I can provide the dealer or can I reach out to GM Financial to get a code? I can’t find much on it anywhere in the forums or on other sites.

No first hand experience, but are you making an offer or asking them to provide numbers?

Incentive Code QJP.

Need to sign up using dealerships campaign link (usually a QR code) for them to get credit and use the bonus.

Once you open it, they’ll need to get an authorization code from GM Card to apply it to the deal.

Must spend $1000 at the dealer to get the bonus of $500.

I can create your authorization once you’re signed up!

I’d like to sign up, but would this offer stack with a GM “private offer” of $500?

Hey, do you know if I have to apply the GM credit card through dealer’s link to get the incentives or I can just use public link from GM website to apply the card?

Dealers link. And then they will need authorization code from card issuer to claim $500

Hey, I’ve just signed up and have been approved for the card. How do I get an authorization code?

If helpful for anyone looking at Cadillac/GM, picked up a 2024 Lyriq yesterday and noticed a couple things from the process:

  1. I got the $500 private offer after searching for 2024 inventory a few times on the Cadillac website
  2. I asked if I had any reward points from a Cadillac I had in 2022. I had a small amount to apply to the lease (~$125). By the time I got to dealership to sign, the Lyriq was added to my GM rewards and was able to apply another ~$615 or so of points towards it that went in as additional incentives (~$740 in total points).
