Hi all ,
First time poster. Was curious if anyone had information on how to know if I qualify or if gm is offering anything right now ?
Have 8 months left currently but need to get out due to mileage.
Currently have a camaro looking for a corvette.
Do I just ask the dealer? Ask gm? Any recent experiences with this ?
Appreciate any help you can provide!
My understanding is GM will mail you the offer. You can also get a dealer to check a manifest list under your VIN I believe to see any offers. I do not know how they choose who gets this offer. Probably those that overpay

Ask your dealer, they should be able to assist.

Probably right, I did overpay.
Good news is I just got lucky enough to get it in the mail, but it says only on 2018 models.
Anyone know if I can get it on 2019s?
I think you answered your own question. These offers are firm.

I actually underpay and got it in the mail. The one i got is 4 months pull ahead or $2k.
Pull ahead is 4 months for gm. Anything more than that the dealership is likely baking in payments you owe anyway.
Not always. It’s been anything between 2-4 months. Nobody knows how to get on the manifest list nor the offer they are given. It’s GMs tightly guarded secret.
I could’ve sworn I read on here somewhere that using a (true) supplier code would get you on the list?
Hasn’t been the case for me.

what does pull ahead mean?
the dealer told me that they pay a certain amount of payments ONLY if you choose another GMC product

That is correct. They will only cover a specific dollar amount for up to 3 payments.

The only person that would qualify for the pull ahead program would the current leasee of the GM product. Not a household member.

I meant you would have to lease again. ANOTHER gmc product right?

That is correct @Cici . In order to waive the last 3 payments, you’d have to first qualify for the pull ahead program and the only time they’d waive the remaining 3 is if you choose to go with another GMC product.
