GM inventory website success stories?

Curious to see how many had success of dealers matching one-pay amounts that are listed on GM websites (chevy, cadillac, etc)?

I understand dealers are not obligated to follow those so trying to gauge how dependable those numbers are, if anyone had easy experience with ‘what you see is what you get’?

Thanks in advance!

Your question is impossible to answer in any actionable way, as it’s going to be hit or miss.

But the better question is, “What’s the right one-pay number for [year] [make] [model] [trim] for [miles] and [months] in [zip code]?”

So you can make offers.

I can get the info about target number from marketplace and/or signed, so that’s not the point of the question. The answer would be as simple as “yes, I reached out to a dealer listed on the website with the numbers it showed and it was a smooth experience without any hiccups” or “reached out to 10 dealers with numbers shown and none wanted to honor is because they are not required”.

I understand not everyone is using that search tool, but maybe some do and had success or failures with numbers listed there when reaching out to dealers.

There’s been a few threads about it in Signed. One about Cadillac and one pays and one recently about Silverados:

There are literally thousands of independently-managed GM dealers, and you’re asking about experiences with their individual advertising practices.

I’m not here to argue so I won’t comment further in your thread, but on the way out I’m going to refer back to this.

It’s a hit or miss. It is helpful but it doesn’t mean they will honor it. I would give that 5% probability. Hope this answers your question.
