GM Holiday Event returns; join Costco before October to be eligible

There’s no guarantee of any deals, just in past years the previous year models usually get aggressively priced in Oct/Nov and the Costco incentive is a gift card worth a few hundred depending on membership level, which helps to lower your effective monthly payment.

Just came to post this… I guess those special edition Costco Suburbans and Tahoes weren’t as big of a hit as they thought? I’m wondering how the program is going to be structured this year, from the way it’s worded it sounds like it might be a fixed discount? I’m hoping that’s not the case.

It appears to be simply GM Supplier pricing. There are no “specials lease deals” or anything that I can find. It just makes you register for an AUTH code and selects a preferred dealer. Has anyone found anything different?

People had to negotiate to get good deals. They weren’t just given out because you were Costco members

If you can negotiate a good discount plus get any GM supplier rebate plus get the costco 700, then the result = $59 chevy cruze …

True… but last year it seemed like the “supplier” discount being thrown their way was just some additional dealer cash. The year before that IIRC you were able to go deeper than supplier on outgoing model year cars. The way this year’s is worded isn’t totally clear about that, so it will be interesting to see how the deals shake out. Either way the Costco card is definitely a nice bonus as always.

I just turned in my 2017 chevy cruze - snagged it for $60/month with $300oop 36/12k. I have another vehicle to use for now, but hoping to snag another killer deal :fingers crossed - Was shopping this past weekend and deals were stale - best I saw was equinox 39 months, first months payment oop - $280/month tax in with 15k per yr

“NOT COMPATIBLE WITH EMPLOYEE OR ANY GM SUPPLIER PROGRAMS”

this year? So, can’t get my grad discount?

GM Supplier pricing (which this Costco promotion gives) is the same discount as college grad. You can’t stack the two. It isn’t a rebate incentive like Hyundai or BMW

Kinda wish I’d done this (Been tinkering with the idea of an XT5)… I suppose by now it’s too late since it’s after 10/1

Does GM allow further negotiating beyond supplier pricing, or is it what you see is what you get?
