GM Financial's March 2016 Complete Dealer Guide with Residuals and MF's

When searching Google for ‘GM Financial Lease Residuals’ the following guide was the 4th link down on the list for me. The link is at the bottom or you can search Google too and see if it comes up for you. It appears to be the March 2016 GM Financial guide for dealers. When you browse to pages in the 70’s you will begin to see the ‘GM Financial Supported Lease Residuals’ and then a few pages later you can see the money factors for the various credit tiers as well as any special capital cost reduction bonus money. One thing that I did find out after reading this is that on ultra low 10k mile year lease the residual is bumped up 3% on 36-39 month and 4% on 42-48 month leases. I had always been told it was a straight 2% bump (which is still true for 24-27 month). It also gives you all the details of how they can mark up your rate or adjust things as well as what dealer installed items are ‘hard adds’ which are residualized and which items are not.

This link was valid as of 3/4/16 and you may want to download it as the full PDF (113 mb total!) since this was likely not meant for public release on the internet.

Sweet find OP! Thanks for the information. This is some good reading material to go over prior to meeting with the sales manager.

Very underrated post! You can still easily find the most up-to-date version of this by searching google for “gm financial dealer workbook”

Yep, great source of info for GM leases. Don’t have to rely on the dealer for the vital lease numbers.

Only thing it doesn’t give you is the regional lease incentives. Like for the 2017 Volt, you won’t see the $2,250 incremental CCR incentive being offered in the 11 CARB states listed anywhere in the workbook. But otherwise, it’s gold!

Hopefully GMF doesn’t get wind of this and shut down access. :open_mouth:

Hmm…usually the workbook is updated with the current month’s info by the 1st, but it is now November 4th and still no updated November #'s…wonder what is going on…

The manual divides things up into “Supported Lease” numbers and "Non-supported Lease’ numbers. Anyone know what this means, and which one to use?

For us regular folk, use the supported lease numbers. Non-supported means no GM Financial incentives, which would mean leasing from someone other than GMF (not even sure if that’s possible).

The workbook still lists October info though, not Nov.

It looks like they have finally fixed the glitch on this one. The link now brings you to an Effective Immediately screen, letting you know the link has moved and you have to log into various dealer sites to access.
