GM Discount Programs

I’m looking for two 2018 Volt LT models and I’m trying to figure out the current MF and what each of the following discounts are pricing wise.

Costco Auto Discount
GM Targeted In Market Lease Pull Ahead Private Offer (What are the details for this program?)
GM Education Discount
GM Military Discount
GM Supplier Discount
GM Loyalty Discount
GM Financial Supported Lease Program
Chevrolet Select Market Incremental CCR Program

Am I missing anything else discount wise?

Also a big shout out to @chevyphil and @chevysalesgirl for posting a lot of great information.

Costco Auto Discount - just a dealer discount from selling price, not rebate or gm discount (lead source for us)
GM Targeted In Market Lease Pull Ahead Private Offer - only mailed to select people
GM Education Discount - same as supplier, not stackable, one supplier discount is it
GM Military Discount - same as supplier, not stackable, one supplier discount is it
GM Supplier Discount - supplier, not stackable, one supplier discount is it
GM Loyalty Discount - depending on car, 500-2000 rebate, larger usually on trucks/tahoes
GM Financial Supported Lease Program - standard lease rebate
Chevrolet Select Market Incremental CCR Program - standard regional lease rebate

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I can restate my question a bit to get the information I’m looking for. I’m trying to figure out how to breakdown the incentives and understand them. I qualify for the GM Education discount, GM Loyalty Discount (w/ 2-2016 Volt’s) but I’m not sure what other incentive programs are active for Volts now and what those discounts are. Also what is the base MF for July?

I see your July 2018 spreadsheet here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ei6yjePuDXovC8LNsnPSorWlhySB-N_Yag4zizzoG3o/edit#gid=0

I see a number of $7400 labeled as GM lease rebate. Is that just a blanket rebate that changes from month to month or made up from other rebates? I’m trying to educate myself before I begin to talk to any dealers.

what region … 20202020

Northern California.

everyone gets $6,900 and there is a extra $500 rebate for having a current lease (can only use it once). totaling $7,400. This is not a step you need to take as that total really doesn’t mean anything to you and no bay area dealer is going to lie to you about your rebate. You really just need to work on sales price and MF, but all of this is almost pointless for Volt LT’s at this time. The bay area is almost all sold out of LT’s and the few that are left are flying off the shelves.
there are hundreds of people that want the last few cars, You are a tad late the the party but might be able to find one but you and should act fast to get a 2018 LT if you can. I hope this helps! happy hunting.

Thanks for the details can you tell me what the base MF and residual (36/15k) is for this month?

Anyone that has done a deal in the last 30-60 days can you tell me the MF you received on an LT?

Hi, I am trying to buy the new traverse but my credit score is and so I’m not qualified. They are trying to give it to me thru lease but monthly lease is around 800. That’s too much right?

Wrong thread - this is about GM discounts. But yes 800 is too much…way too much. That’s X5/XC90 type pricing.

Why would this matter? All that would matter is the current MF at the beginning of July, which you can get on Edmunds.

Why would you trust Edmunds?

Because they have access to all the pertinent MF/residual data for the majority of the captives. Why would you NOT trust them over a dealer looking to profit on you?

@chevyphil, @chevysalesgirl , that wasn’t intended for either you. You’re a couple of the good ones  .

Because they have the correct information. Why would you trust a random person on the internet that could lie about what they got in the past 30-60 days?

or, the simple issue that MF in May/June is irrelevant to July’s numbers, not to mention the number provided by the random unknown on the internet could’ve been marked up.

I’ll take my chances on Edmunds

@ChevyPhil @chevysalesgirl

What documentation is needed to qualify for conquest/loyalty and is there a time restriction on when the old leases need to end?

At this point in the Volt market it doesn’t matter. If any dealer gets a LT in stock we’d have 50 people who wanted it (not even close to an exaggeration). At most dealers it will cost what they say it costs. You don’t get to go “ah ha, I caught you raising the mf, give it to me cheaper” they’ll say So what? Do you want it or should we sell it to the next 49 people that want it…
You have no leverage right now so more info doesn’t matter, you need someone with a car willing to lease it to you for a good price. what I posted is at the base mf and a good dealer discount. if you get that you did well. most dealers just send or post payment and down payment anyway. You have all the details you need to get a good deal, now you just need to find a car.

lease must be CURRENT. like verifiable owned with the DMV. if it expires tomorrow or you bought it yesterday, it still qualifies.

current lease registration.

OK thanks - the reg indicates whether it’s a lease vs finance vs owned?
